U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned China’s senior foreign policy official, Wang Yi, that it would be a “serious problem” if China were to provide lethal arms to Russia. The warning came as the two met in Munich, Germany, during an international security conference. It was the first high-level meeting between the two countries since the U.S. shot down the alleged Chinese spy balloon, according to an AP report. Blinken said in an interview after the meeting, “we have information that gives us concern that they (China) are considering providing lethal support to Russia in the war against Ukraine.”
