Elon Musk responded to a tweet from “Kanekoa the Great” which asked if Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), played a role in creating the COVID-19 virus through funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab. Musk said, “He did it via a pass-through organization (EcoHealth),” referring to the nonprofit group that received $8 million in federal grants from the NIAID under Fauci to study bat coronaviruses in China. In their response to Musk, the CCP-controlled Global Times’ warned him that addressing the lab leak theory could influence future business prospects in China and added that Musk could be “breaking the pot of China,” which, essentially means to “bite the hand that feeds you.”
