The Day of Prayer Christian revival tour stopped off in Nashville at the Tennessee State Capitol where 5,000 people sang and prayed at the War Memorial Plaza on Saturday, with thousands more joining online. Turning Point USA Faith and Let Us Worship cohosted the event which focused on the tragic school shooting that took place less than a week before in which three students and three staff members were killed at The Covenant School. Sen. Jack Johnson (R-TN) addressed the crowd saying, “There are very few things that are as beautiful to see as the kingdom gathered here in a public square to worship our almighty God. I felt led to read Psalm 34:18: ‘The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.'”
