Tucker Carlson’s Removal Came Straight From Fox Corp. Executive Murdoch

Tucker Carlson’s removal from Fox News’ lineup reportedly came from Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch with input from board members and other Fox executives, according to a source familiar with the matter who spoke to the Los Angeles Times.  This news comes following Monday’s announcement that Fox News and Carlson “have agreed to part ways.”  Carlson’s show often surpassed 4.5 million viewers per episode making it the one of the top-rated shows on cable news.  Many have said on social media they are canceling their subscriptions to Fox News, with comments such as “RIP Fox News” and “Done with Fox” trending on Twitter.
